I hope it's okay for me to ask this here. I do alchemy and herbalism on my hunter and I decided work from home rn jobs maryland become a transmute master.

Do you know if it is worth my while ditching herbalism and taking mining instead now since I transmute? I can't really see much point in having herbalism now, it best way to make money with enchanting mop make that much gold from just selling herbs and I'd be able to trasmute my own mined ores if I took mining.

I would change to Minning if I were you Tamika, it makes some more than herb in just normal farm but herb is also giving a pretty descent of gold if u know what players need for example.

You can still make flasks from Alchemy wich can sell around gold depending on your realm. And flasks will be hard for you to make without Herb. From my "Master of All" crew I must say the best income has always been from my enchanter. Before MoP leatherworker was good too, but with MoP rep grinds and harmonies she has gone to iddle mode and the enchanter is centre of my income.

Hey man, sorry for the delay in responding, only saw it. I dislike farming mats, here's my reason that applies to you: You are a transmute master. Each stack of Ghost Iron Ore you can turn into 1 Trillium Bar, 6 Trillium you can turn into 1 Living Steel.

Lets say you far the 6 stacks of Ghost Iron, I'l;l be generous and say you do it in 30 mins. After that you have to smelt it, mail it between toons and do the transmutes etc. So assume 45 mins in total. Instead check the AH for the price of Ghost Iron Ore, if 6 stacks costs less than the living steel you are making profit for a much smaller time investment and making profit.

And if you get procs you are making more gold. Not only have you saved yourself 30 mins but you could spend that time doing dailies, which in my experience will more than cover the cost of 6 stacks of Ghost Iron Ore. So you've used your time more efficently, made more gold and advanced ytour character valor points and rep. Also by taking mining you are more likely to use anything that you farm yourself, by sticking with herbalism you have no choice but to sell the herbs and lotus.

Making you more gold while you're at it. Don;t take mining, buy the mats instead. Have something to say? Log in to join the conversation.
