But it is a great way to earn a residual income and to eventually make enough money to live on, but it takes time a whole lot of time , and money to make this a reality!

So with that out of the way, lets talk about the basics by helping you get started on the right food and then focus on the truth about becoming an AMSOIL Dealer. Getting Started On The Right Foot. I am going to get right the point first, and then if you want the details, you can continue to read the rest of the article.

I simply went to the AMSOIL site and created my dealership directly with them. This means they assigned my sponsor randomly.

Not a single e-mail. I have given up on contacting them. In this business you need a team and you want to be associated with team players who want you to be successful. Having a team is very important. So you want a responsive dealer, and now I will shamelessly tell you that I am a sponsor who will help you succeed if you are serious about being a dealer and a team player. This is your business, and you need to take it very seriously. Even if you are not serious and just want to get cheap AMSOIL products, do yourself a favor and get yourself a good sponsor so if you decide to get serious later, you can have the support you need to take your business to the next level.

So go out and find a dealer by contacting them and see how responsive they are. Many will be responsive at first but after you sign up using them as your sponsor, they will disappear. I can only speak for myself, and I am a team player who will help any and every one of my dealers succeed as much as possible.

If you are already serious, have found a good sponsor, and have started your AMSOIL business, get your T-1 Certification taken care of asap. The T-1 Certification will give you the information you need to succeed and allow you to get your AMSOIL T-1 leads, and this will help you get your first customers.

It takes time to build any business, and AMSOIL is no different in that regard! This is enough to get you started on the right foot, and if you have chosen a good sponsor like I mentioned above, you will have the support you need!

You Will Not Get Rich Quick. Sorry, but get rich quick schemes are scams, and AMSOIL is not a scam! Can you make a lot of money with AMSOIL? Maybe, but it takes time and dedication, and I make pennies! I figured it was all bullshit and that I just wanted some good dealer priced AMSOIL products. I should have ran from these people and you should too. Can it make you rich? Okay, I am getting ahead of myself, right now I want to make sure you understand that selling AMSOIL is not a get rich quick scheme, nor is it a scam.

Once you get your business off the ground, the earning potential becomes theoretically limitless, but it takes a lot of time and work. AMSOIL Is NOT A Pyramid Scheme. I get this a lot, people think AMSOIL is a pyramid scheme or a scam. They quit, and now they think they are the authority on being an AMSOIL dealer.

First, pyramid schemes are illegal. Pyramid schemes do not offer anything in return for your money, there is no product to sell. Second, pyramid schemes are get rich quick schemes where you expect to get money by giving money to someone for nothing.

MLM is not a pyramid scheme. MLM is a legitimate business model and businesses are starting to use this business model more often as they realize the value of word of mouth marketing and having local company representatives. It also gives customers a local representative that can give each customer the individual attention they deserve.

What other major oil company can you find a local representative to answer your questions and concerns like you can with AMSOIL? AMSOIL has been around for over 40 years, and this is due to the fact that they sell a top shelf product that people want. Other successful MLM companies include Herbalife, Nu Skin, and many more also sell quality products that consumers want.

These are legitimate business which allow you to start your very own business for very little. When I first considered opening my own dealership, other dealers in my up line tried to sell me on the idea that I could easily make a bunch of money selling AMSOIL. Just go to google and see for yourself. Type in AMSOIL dealer and see how many sites come up promising easy money. Is it ever easy to earn a living running a business? Can it get easy at some point?

You cannot start any business with little capital and expect to get rich quickly. If you think you can sign at the dotted line and open your own AMSOIL business and customers will be suddenly knocking down your door, you are wrong. It takes work, just like any other job.

The good new is, when you finally build that foundation and start making money, it gets a lot easier. In addition, you can have fun with your AMSOIL dealership, make new friends, and enjoy the freedom that comes along with it. You can work this gig part time and make a little money if you are serious about it. You Do Not Have To Sell AMSOIL To Your Friends and Family. This is where a lot of people have a problem with MLM, and I was one of those people.

Everyone wants to protect their engine, get better fuel mileage, have less repairs, and a more reliable vehicle.

AMSOIL produces products that delivers on their promises and is backed by research and comparable studies which name names. In short, people want AMSOIL as they like to protect their vehicles, firearms, etc. Depending on your location, you may get a lot of AMSOIL T-1 leads, and most people are content with contact through e-mail.

In fact, many prefer e-mail as a method of conversation. Heck, I have had a lot of customers who I emailed after getting a lead that never contact me back, yet they still sign up as a customer. Instead of selling to your close family and friends, simply let them know that you are an AMSOIL dealer if they ask what you do. Focus on a wider marketing plan. I will cover marketing in another part of this article. How many times have you recommended your favorite restaurant, product, or service?

Do not sell AMSOIL, instead inform those who are interested about the benefits of AMSOIL and invite them to try it for themselves. I know AMSOIL is a top notch product like Mobil 1 and my severe duty Dodge Durango just hit , miles. It still runs like a champ too.

If you have gotten this far, then you are well on your way to being a successful AMSOIL dealer. If you wanted to go out and start a business, how much would you need?

Regardless of the company, you would most likely need to purchase office equipment, uniforms, product, etc. You need to purchase certain things to get started.

The great thing about AMSOIL is that you are not required to purchase anything unless you want too. Here is what I would suggest you start with. Business cards, AMSOIL shirt or two, AMSOIL Hat or two, AMSOIL catalogs, and some AMSOIL products that will sell in your area. I usually get a few calls asking for different products for people who want to purchase immediately or who just need to top off. You will have to decide based on your area what are the best products to sell. You not only want actual AMSOIL products, but you will want to market your products too.

There are both free ways and paid ways to market your products, but I will cover this in another article later on. When I say Cold Call, I really mean calling people on the phone. I personally hate it when people call my house trying to sell me anything. I will never buy from someone who calls me out of nowhere to sell me a product.

I find it extremely rude. There are other ways to get peoples attention without cold calling them, but I will cover that later. You simply need to get the message out there without annoying those you are trying to attract and help. Of course if you are good at cold calling, by all means you should do it.

You Should Use AMSOIL Products. You should use these products exclusively as you will realize how good they are and allow you to become personally familiar with all of them. Let me be honest here, most dealers do absolutely nothing after they become dealers. The opportunities are there if you really work you area. My customers have had no problems with drop shipping costs. Of course each customer is different, but so far no problems to report here. This is really big for retail accounts. This really depends on the dealer and where they decide to put their time. The more diverse your customer base, the better. As a dealer, you get to decide what will work best for you personally.
