I thought at least for the time being, any new players I would offer a quck start guide to get everyone off on the right foot. Allright, Day 1, this is mostly the tutorial. The only thing you do with you character is go through some mottions and collect some stuff around your farm. Feel free to pick it clean since the clock isn't running.

The you are forced to bed. Here, you are allowed to move around the whole map after some more tutorial. However, you don't have any tools yet so all you can really do is forage. Head around to the river, forest, and mountain areas and pick them clean, or at least until you fill your bag. Come back and store some stuff in your chest in the house so you have room for the tools you will get on day 3. Alright, you now have your tools and can start farming. Well, you have the watering can, hoe, and sickle along with bucks to start out with.

You have 5 fields with 8 blocks each so that's 40 blocks total. You also have some bags of turnip seeds and one bag of potatoe seeds to start out with. You also have an empty barn. Start the day off using your hoe to till all 5 of your fields then head into town around Don't plant anything yet. Head over to the general store and spend of your dollars on grass seeds. While you here, you might as well empty the junk you collected the previous day into the shipping bin and make the loop to collect the woods again.

Talk to the towns 3 residents if you watn the friendship points. Once you've made your rounds, ship everything that isn't a rock, branch, honey bee, or moondrop flower. Store the flowers in your storage chest and leave the building materials in your back pack.

Head back outside and spread out grass sead over all 5 of your fields. Ditch the turnip and potatoe seeds into the tool chest for now. You might be tempted to grow turnips at this point, but don't. They take 4 days to grow and ship for gold. Without a seed maker or fertilizer this is a waste of time and stanima since you have to water them twice a day to get that rate. Grass starts producing on day 5 and grows every single day.

You can sell grass for 60 gold a piece. So, you will get sale profit for your first bag in the time it takes to grow a turnip in the same space. However, after your first 4 days, you start make gold per space per 4 days and you don't have to rebuy the seeds.

Also, it only takes half the stanima to cut the fodder as it does to water the crops twice a day. So, for spring, your cash crop is fodder. If you plant your whole field you will make gold a day plus what you pull off the foraging loop. Continue this pattern On the 9th, you will get your first cow. Feed it whatever amount of fodder it needs not to starve to death. Brush it once a day and collect it's milk. If you want, you can use your cash reserve at this point to purchase a second or third cow as time goes forward.

Otherwise keep selling the fodder and looting the wilderness for resources. You can impregnate one of the cows and get another cow for free if you don't mind having one of your cows out of commission for 20 days. Also, now that the animal guy has moved it, you can build friendship with him if you want as well.

He likes fodder and oh look you got a bunch. Start giving her either a branch or a small rock everyday to start building friendship with her. You should probably start saving your money at this point for the 25th when you can start buildign stuff with the blue prints.

On the 25, the architect moves to town. You build her a house and she teaches you how to creat stuff around the place. Head to the general store and get a bunch of free soil. Use your crummy axe to clear as many trees as you can and start making gravel fields for around your farm. You should also purchase what you need to make a chicken coop and get a chicken so you can start hatching yourself a flock for additional income.

You will also pick up fish traps around this time which, can yeild additional income. A storage shed can get all that extra material out of your backpack and free up some space. Once the first day of summer hits, you will start to get the town renovation plans from the creepy dude who runs the town.

Your main goal early summer is to get through the first two stages as quickly as you can. If you saved building materials up in your back pack through the spring you should be ready to complete the first stage of the plans once you have enough money to buy the iron you need for the lamp posts. Also, by this point the blacksmith should start giving you the tool upgrade plans.

Really, the only one you need to concern yourself with is the sickle. On the first day of summer, head over to the general store and get a ton of grass seeds.

Plow all your fields with the hoe and plant more fodder. I could go through another long math proof here, but the bottom line is that unitl you have the silver watering can and a steady supply of fertilizer. Fodder is going to make you more money than anything else that comes out of the ground.

Plant and harvest about to pieces of fodder a day and continue to forage the mountain side in your free time. The remainder of the summer is pretty much spelled out for you by the game. Spend your money wisely and you should be fine. Keep giving the black smith gifts until you get the blueprints for the ultimate tools upgrades from her.

You can then stop unless you plan to marry her. Good luck everyone enjoy the game. If you don't mind I would like to add another easy way to make some money.
